Your research and management experience will provide you with the expertise and credibility to oversee an exceptional translational research program; leading, motivating and directing colleagues and collaborators across a broad range of disciplines.
Candidates must have extensive experience or knowledge in the clinical management of hearing loss and/or the development of spoken language; preferably with a paediatric focus. Demonstrated experience in interdisciplinary research and study design is important and a relevant PhD is preferred, but not required (there is opportunity for advanced study towards a PhD).
You will have demonstrated ability to represent The Shepherd Centre with senior stakeholders including the government, academic partners and clinical staff; with high level written, oral and interpersonal communication skills. Confidence in research analysis and results presentation is expected.
All staff at The Shepherd Centre are committed to excellence in our work towards achieving our vision of every child with hearing loss achieving the best spoken language they are capable of; including fostering a professional, collaborative and passionate work environment.
We welcome applications from people with a disability, including hearing loss.
