The MindSpot Clinic
The MindSpot Clinic is an online mental health service for Australian adults who experience difficulties with anxiety, stress, depression and low mood. We provide online Screening Assessments and Treatment Courses, or we can help find local services that can help.
As a not-for-profit initiative the MindSpot Clinic provides free and accessible high quality, innovative and effective e-mental health services.
Over 3 million Australians experience significant symptoms of anxiety and depression every year. We have provided services to people aged 18-94 from every state and territory in Australia. Most people using our treatments experience a significant improvement in the severity of their symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Online Screening Assessment
The Clinic aims to provide people with helpful information about symptoms of anxiety and depression by providing a free and confidential screening service to help people better understand their symptoms of anxiety, stress, worry, depression and low mood.
The MindSpot Clinic’s Treatment Courses have been researched and developed by the eCentre Clinic at Macquarie University. Our free online Courses contain easy to read information, practical skills, stories about how other people have learned to overcome their symptoms, and offer regular contact with a MindSpot Clinic therapist. Over 10,000 people have been through our courses. Our Course-Finder tool assists patients to find a Course that may best support their current needs.
Referral options for Health Professionals
Health Professionals also have the opportunity to refer patients to the Clinic directly and securely by filling out a simple online form. We will contact your patient and support them to complete the MindSpot Online Screening Assessment and, if appropriate, support them to complete an 8-week treatment course.
