To celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3 December 2020), Associate Professor Mridula Sharma as the co-Chair of International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders, moderated a webinar series.
The aim of these short webinars from leading experts including Profs Suzanne Purdy, Christie Yoshinaga Itano, Katrin Neuman and Thais Morata was to explore research on hearing and its associated disorders across the life span that led to policy recommendations and/or changes.
The topics include newborn hearing screening, Auditory processing disorder, ototoxicity due to environmental chemicals and finally a brief on the World Report on Hearing by Dr Shelly Chadha.
