Cochlear Foundation announces global summit for young people with hearing loss

To celebrate World Hearing Day, Cochlear launched the final phase of a three-year partnership between Malala Fund and Cochlear Foundation to raise awareness about the barriers keeping millions of children and young people with hearing loss from accessing a quality education.

In tandem with this, Cochlear Foundation announced five inspiring young people living with hearing loss will attend a global summit in London this May. Here, they will urge world leaders to prioritise better access to hearing healthcare and support for millions of children around the world.

The summit forms part of Cochlear Foundation’s ‘Achieve anything program’ which highlights the real-world experiences of children and young people with hearing loss and demonstrates the importance of early access to hearing healthcare and support.
