To celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Audiology Committee of International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders, moderated two talks and a panel discussion. The aim of the talks and panel discussion is to deliberate challenges and facilitators to understand issues pertaining to disability especially in the education sector.
Service providers presented about the challenges, barriers to learning and teaching at the University level (or school) that people with hearing and/or visual disabilities experience and what are the potential support systems are available or maybe put in place for achieving equity.
