Hearing Australia Figtree centre officially opened

The Hearing Australia Figtree Centre in New South Wales was officially opened 23 November by the Hon Bill Shorten MP, Minister for the NDIS and Government Services, and Ms Alison Byrnes MP, Member for Cunningham.

They spoke with Hearing Australia staff and heard about the life-changing services the centre provides to close to 4,000 children and adults in the region.

They also chatted with clients, meeting the lovely Charli-Maree and Frankie, and learned about how Hearing Australia is working with The Shepherd Centre to provide them, and many other children with hearing loss, with the care and support they need.

Dr Aleisha Davis, CEO of The Shepherd Centre, also attended the opening and discussed the great outcomes the two organisations are able to achieve together for children with hearing loss through their ongoing partnership.
